Low maintenance design and inexpensive overall cost. 

The locking safety system offers you the security that your camera
will be safe in and around the water.  

Tough nylon latches allow for a tight and secure O-ring seal and will provide
years of use.

Patented multi-functional shutter adjustment design allows you to use the
Camerashield with hundreds of point and shoot auto film advance cameras

The tough clear housing is the same G.E. LEXAN polycarbonate material used in
making bullet proof glass make the Camera Shield strong enough to drop and
withstand the impact.
                                                                                  
Foam inserts are used to wedge and prop your camera inside the Camerashield.  
Foam inserts absorb any unintentional shock to your camera.

Camerashield floats on the surface of the water with a positive buoyancy of 1 kg (2.2 lbs).

Bright yellow or Orange lid makes it easy to see in the water if it gets away.

Set shutter actuator as shown to anticipate dive pressures

Housing will flex inward slightly (2.5 mm) as you dive pushing your camera back.
The foam set will maintain the camera against the lens as you resurface.

     Will Camerashield work with my existing camera?
 If your camera dimensions are: Height: 2 13/16“  x  Width: 2 1/8” x Length: 5" 
 or smaller, your camera will work with the Camerashield.  Our unique 3 way
adjustable shutter  actuator allows the Camerashield to be used by a wide variety
of camera models .

Please note that additional foam supports may be required depending on camera size when replacing our 35 mm Combo camera.   The actuator arm may be removed and turned over to gain different angles to reach a shutter button. 

 If you have not yet purchased a digital camera to use with the Camerashield, consider cameras that "wake up" again when pressing the shutter button.  Digital
